“Autumn in the Lowcountry” is to be celebrated in floral extravagance as the change of the season in the Flower Barn is here. Our Flower Bar will be filled with all of the textures and colors of fall from the field and farm. We are in our “gathered in” phase as we begin to forage and find for your creative indulgence. You will be equipped with all the tools you need and a special vase to unleash your floral creativity with a relaxing day on the farm.
We’ll start with a brief gathering for refreshments at “The Garden Shed” to share the story that continues to unfold on our farm. Learning about the processes of starting from seed, growing and cutting flowers enhances the experience of designing an arrangement to take home. A brief tour of the field will further your appreciation of the “field to vase” experience.
The Flower Bar will be waiting for your creative indulgence as we lead you through the steps of blending color and texture in a vase. Time in the Flower Barn is the “escape from it all” kind of time you need. Your beautiful floral arrangement will be carried home to enjoy throughout the days ahead.
The day is not complete until you enjoy a shared lunch - served “long table” style on the back porch of the farm house. Relax with friends under the embrace of the oaks by the beautiful Wimbee Creek. We can’t wait to spend the day with you.

It’s time for our first summer barbeque with friends and family! Flowers should be at the party too, so come make an explosion of blooms to take home for your first summer weekend! You will be the envy of all your friends. The garden will be displaying all the summer blooms you imagine with sunflowers, zinnia in all the colors. These will share the stage with our continued spring blooms and garden roses to make stunning combinations.
Our flower bar tells the story well, as you enjoy the process of combining the shapes and colors into a naturalistic garden in a vase. We teach you the process of garden style arranging with textures, fragrances and shapes of greenery that show off the flowers. The workshops are a coveted experience from the beginning to the end of the season. We hope you will join us for a special day (maybe with your mom or sister or honorary sister?) – it is a floral design and luncheon workshop with Kristina at the helm of the flower barn to enjoy this special time on the farm and in the garden.
This special day on the farm includes morning refreshments and welcome, a tour of our growing area, a design demonstration and your own creative time in the flower barn with our flower credenza. You will create your arrangement in a special vase for you to take home, and we’ll be in the barn to help you every step of the way.

Mother's Day Flower Workshop
Another choice for Mother’s Day! It is so very special on the Flower Farm that we added a second date and hope you will join us to indulge in the beautiful flowers. Our garden roses will be displaying their beauty along with a continuation of the spring sweet peas and snapdragons, bachelor buttons and foxglove. The old fashioned “canterbury bells” are promising a show too!

Spring Blooms in a Vase Workshop
Celebrate spring on Wimbee Creek Farm with a lovely day of flower indulgence! We will create a day of lasting memories as we gather for morning refreshments and hellos. We’ll tour the farming area first and then return to the Flower Barn to enjoy some hands on instruction and creative time. It’s a lovely flower world to immerse yourself in. Snapdragon, Bells of Ireland, Garden Roses, Queen Anne’s Lace, Sweet Peas and so much more for you to lose yourself into!
Easter Flowers in a Vase Workshop
The early spring blooms on Wimbee Creek Farm begin in March with the onset of our High Tunnel Production. We offer some of our most prized blooms – the ranunculus and the poppies. With these we combine gorgeous flowers that we source from other local and regional farms to bring you an amazing floral design experience.
