Fall beckons us to savor the culmination of our gardens with elements that will sustain our appreciation of nature around us. The wreath is a symbol of the circle of all that we experience in our lives, most especially in our gardens. The farm has a beautiful display of nature laid out for you to create a lasting symbol of abundance. All the tools and elements are provided for you to enjoy the ritual of gathering a wreath.
We’ll start with a brief gathering for refreshments at “The Garden Shed” to share the story that continues to unfold on our farm. Learning about the processes of starting from seed, growing and cutting flowers enhances the experience of design. Understanding the cycle of growing and then collecting for a wreath will be a part of the experience as you take your creation home.
The Flower Bar will be waiting for your creative indulgence as we lead you through the steps of selecting and gathering the elements together for a wreath. Time in the Flower Barn is the “escape from it all” kind of time you need. Your beautiful floral arrangement will be carried home to enjoy throughout the days ahead.
The day is not complete until you enjoy a shared lunch - served “long table” style on the back porch of the farm house. Relax with friends under the embrace of the oaks by the beautiful Wimbee Creek. We can’t wait to spend the day with you.
